Got Mail?

I know that by now I should probably be burnt out on NBA free agency. But I’m not. I’m just as enticed as ever, with no hint of the rumors and signings losing any luster. And I’m betting many of you feel the same way. Part of it of course, is that I have a dog in the hunt (Clippers), but my interest is also due to the insanity of some of these deals.

Darko, Gay and Amir Johnson all signing for huge contracts? PINCH ME! Please NBA GMs, PLEASE continue the madness. It’s intoxicating.

Since it has been nothing but baseball here at Not in HD headquarters for the entire month of May, it is high time that I do a little spring cleaning of my inbox, fulfilling my Got Mail? duties by answering your questions about sports not confined to a bat, ball and four bases.

Got Mail? (Clippers Edition)

Before we get to the Clippers mail, there is a bit of business to take care of. Someone needs to send the NFL a tweet or something, letting them know fans aren’t thrilled about their two-for-eight good game ratio. Aside from Cards/Packers and Jets/Chargers, the postseason has been a snooze-fest. I’ve had snot-rockets more captivating than that Colts victory.

But this isn’t about the NFL. This is an NBA column. Specifically, a Clippers column. Am I crazy? Can I pump out 1,500-2,000 words on L.A.’s most irrelevant franchise? Read more…
