The Windy City Stinks

Not a great start to the offseason for Bears fans.

Someone needs to get this guy some Pepto.

A wave of nausea overwhelmed the greater Chicago area Saturday night, due to a stench so putrid and perplexing, only residents of Detroit can truly empathize with the Windy City’s overall feelings of queasiness and despair.

In a move that can only be described as asinine, the Bears hired former Detroit Lions castoff, and the only head coach to ever finish a season with an 0-16 record, Rod Marinelli, as the team’s new assistant head coach in charge of the defensive line.

Was owner, Virginia McCaskey, wearing her favorite pair of Bad Idea Jeans at the time?

Finishing the season with a 9-7 record, roster and coaching changes were certainly expected as Chicago limped to the finish line, falling just shy of the playoffs as Minnesota took charge of the NFC North.

We knew the Bears were envious of what the Vikings had, but who could have guessed what they really coveted belonged to the Lions?
