I know that by now I should probably be burnt out on NBA free agency. But I’m not. I’m just as enticed as ever, with no hint of the rumors and signings losing any luster. And I’m betting many of you feel the same way. Part of it of course, is that I have a dog in the hunt (Clippers), but my interest is also due to the insanity of some of these deals.

Darko, Gay and Amir Johnson all signing for huge contracts? PINCH ME! Please NBA GMs, PLEASE continue the madness. It’s intoxicating.

Since it has been nothing but baseball here at Not in HD headquarters for the entire month of May, it is high time that I do a little spring cleaning of my inbox, fulfilling my Got Mail? duties by answering your questions about sports not confined to a bat, ball and four bases.

(Also, we have another huge baseball feature coming next week, so I thought it would be nice to give you something non-baseball related first. Without revealing too much, but rather just enough to whet your appetite;

Before we get to the Clippers mail, there is a bit of business to take care of. Someone needs to send the NFL a tweet or something, letting them know fans aren’t thrilled about their two-for-eight good game ratio. Aside from Cards/Packers and Jets/Chargers, the postseason has been a snooze-fest. I’ve had snot-rockets more captivating than that Colts victory.

But this isn’t about the NFL. This is an NBA column. Specifically, a Clippers column. Am I crazy? Can I pump out 1,500-2,000 words on L.A.’s most irrelevant franchise?

It’s New Year’s Eve which can only mean one thing: there’s still time to squeeze in one last Got Mail? blog. And don’t worry I won’t pull a Reilly and devote the entire piece to Tiger Woods. In fact, it’s my goal to steer clear of all Tiger questions period. Despite being asked completely loaded quandaries such as, “Which mistress thus far has been the hottest?”

Loaded of course being the gun my wife would be pointing at me should my tongue loosen.

Alright, so it may have been roughly a month ago when I promised a Got Mail? blog. I got sidetracked with the NBA Finals, a Hodge Podge blog, some site notes and a sweet Top-10 YouTube clips blog. So let’s not focus on my month old preview, but rather the goodness I brought you since then. And don’t call it a broken promise, just delayed.

So here I am, ready to bring my “A” game. As always, our readers sent in some fantastic queries, but the biggest question is whether I’ll lead with an MLB, NBA Draft, NBA Finals, U.S. Open or Nike Puppets question…
